That is not an M3. Sorry to let you down but the E30 M3 is a very limited model and yours does not even come close to one..

mine is an 85 not an 86 the one you have is an 86. i can prove it cause i just paid for a new engine to be shipped from germany. sure anyone can put a badge but when you look at my door the registration tags are not there. So sorry to let you down
its an E36 not an E30 mine is a straight six not a Inline 4 like the 86
Sorry but there never was an original E30 M3 with a straight six.
its an Dinan not a regular BMW im telling you i will send pictures of the engine when im done
how can it be an M3 since you say its a DINAN. DINAN has nothing to do with Germany, but it is pure AMERICAN USA stuff.. is the equivalent of the German AC SCHNITZER and HAMANN (kind of) but not that close. Also your car does not seem to be a real import from Germany as you have both longer bumpers front and rear which where made specifically for the USA market to meet the local laws there. It happens that i used to have almost same car you say that you have with the only difference tha mine was a 323i in-line six. And yes there was never an e30 M3 six cylinder but only a 4 cylinder which was much more powerful than the 6 cylinder for its displacement. Also the E30 M3 has wider front and rear sides.. which yours has none... Sorry to let you down..
look man if your so positive why dont you come and tell me what i have since my reciepts tell me what i have.
Only 6 Dinan M3's were made.. That is not one of them.. You can check on www.s14.net for more information about the E30 M3. I hope that helps and you can get back at the person who sold you the car misrepresenting it as an E30 M3.
you have a 86 325es/is. its fully equipped a factory "M" badge on the grill and a ebay dinan badge on the rear. i suppose it is possible that you have a factory dinan car but since youre debating this, i would want to see more pics, you supplied pics of the trunk and of the whole car, show the door jam.
well i have the dinan tag because i have more than 10 dinan points not because its factory dinan
There wehere about 60 e30 M3's build with a straight six. by Alpina. But his car is something not a M3.
Send me the last seven numbers of your VIN! And I tell you what you got!
What the f.....! On the other side? Only the island monkeys in eu have it on the other side means right. Where did you go to school? Steering wheel on the right. Australia GB Japan Hong Kong and South Africa. Do you know where it comes from: having it on the right? And by the you can take a train to get to europe!
ok First things first ....there were NEVER ANY e30 M3's 6 cyl made ....EVER. The BMW in the picture is not an M3. The M3 has much wider rear fenders than the stock E30s. The could be a Dinan that I can't comment on but I can assure you the dude that sold you this car jacked you.
BMW M3 Alpina B6 3,5S (187 kW/254 PS, 3,5 l Sechszylinder) 62 Stück als Kleinserie that means Alpine made 62 e30 m3 with a six cyl. But you are right his is not an M3!
Well looks like you have been screwed! Everything Chris told you is true! Just google BMW M3 E30 and you´ll see how these cars look... and they are nothing similar to your car!
And, E30 M3´s where sold from 1986, and they only got officially to the US in the 1987.
Face it man you have been fucked. What you thought you would get isnt what you actually got cause in receipt you can write what you want the buyer to think.
I can tell you that BMW DID NOT make six cylinder engines for the E30 M3. but Alpine did but you got to remember that the Alpine m3 six cylinder is a knockoff its not the real deal. Because the original E30 M3 four cylinder was and is still much better in terms of performance and durability.
This is how it should look like if you have an M3 E30.

I get all of my parts and body kits from octanemotorsports.com. Then again, you can associate with local street racer punks to see if they have connections. If you have the cash, you can look at/ order stuff from Gemballa, Carllson and TechArt, but I think they only do Porshe & Mercedes-Benz.
