4x4 stuck in low range

Truck came out of 4wd but is stuck in low
range? Any advice, I tried reverse. Battery
was next didn't work any other tips?

stick it back in 4x4 low range rock it back and forth using rev and drive a few times should come out had same issue with 02 ranger uncle told me to do that and vola it come out

the transfer cases have servo motors that rotate a cam. That cam moves shift forks within the transfer to engage/disengage the different modes. If the motor is burnt out, the cam is no longer properly attached to the shaft, the cam follower has detached from the fork, or the fork itself is broken then that low range can't disengage

2003 ford awd explorer was stuck in 4wd low so i unhooked the battery dor 15 mins and let the computer reset then rehooked the battery and the push button shifting worked fine in all ranges.
