AWD tire changes do you have to change all 4

so I had to replace a tire on a new AWD and it was suggested to do all 4 yet they didn't have 1000 miles on them yet.

The tires need to be within 2/32 of each other, the same brand and type of tires. So unless there is an alignment problem 1 new tire should be ok but put it on the right side of the vehicle.
