I am interested in selling my current vehicle, but it is my ONLY vehicle. If I list it for sale and am unable to find a replacement car in time, (or at all) can I change my mind without being penalized?

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In
I cannot go any span of time without a working vehicle. So if a buyer comes along and I have not yet found a replacement car, I CAN'T give it to them yet. I realize that's a big inconvenience to the buyer. How will this affect my listing on Car Gurus?

It won't but you need to be upfront and honest of your intent with buyer...I sure most people will understand...
Good luck with that. Most buyers will need the car too. Maybe you should rent for a few days.
F O R WOULDN'T WANT TO BE IN A BURNING BUILDING WITH YOU...
Simple: don't list it for sale until you're ready to part with it!
I would drag you out - no worries. Who would buy a car when told they can't have it and the seller may change their mind? Renting a car for the interim is the perfect solution.
