engaging the turn signal in my1990 Chev G 20 van causes all 4 signals to acti vate, althogh weaker on non-selected side. What is fix?

Sounds like one of the connecting plugs got wet and shorting out. Does it do it only when u turn to one side or both

Start by disconnecting light plugs (connectors) from rear and work ur way up to the steering column switch, there's a short somewhere
