Clutch pedal on my 1994 mustang gt 5.0 won't go into gear when I step on the clutch pedal at first no resistance but a little further down it does it will go into gear with it off

sounds like your clutch has had it mine is a cable can check that and adjust but probably your clutch.

94 Mustang has a cable operated clutch. It is NOT hydraulic. Possible clutch quadrant, cable or throw out bearing issue with your clutch.
