2006 chevy Colorado reads high temp.

I have a 2006 chevy colorado work
truck 2.8l thermostat was reading
below normal and check engine light
was on so i replaced it with a duralast.
Now it’s reading a little above normal
about 215 when driving and when i
stop it goes slightly lower. Any
suggestions??

Sounds like a slightly restricted cooling system. A good cooling system flush using a chemical cleaner should solve your problem. Hope that helps! Jim
