how did i get gas in my oil

all of a sudden it started running rough and died. started again, sound like it wasn't firing on all cylinders [6] check oil and had gas in crankcase

Possible faulty fuel pressure regulator letting gas in intake. Engine rings are worn seeping un- burned fuel to oil pan. At the very least one or more of your injectors may be clogged. Good Luck!
