I have a 96 Monte Carlo 3.4L. It starts acting funny after the temperature rises under the hood it seems like. Any idea what it may be?

Maybe thermostat. That is the least costly try at an overheating issue. But a disclaimer: I am not a Chevy guy, not an expert by any means. Just generic car knowledge says that. And every car I have ever owned or worked on, or even know of, that has electric fan(s) the fan comes on whenever A/C is on. maybe not constantly, but at idle the condenser must have air-flow regardless of engine temperature, even cold engine, to operate
