I have tried the recommended reset profile for the 'catalytic mon" on my 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo which was 55 mph for 5 minutes, 5 times and the catalytic mon still read "inc" How do I get this to read OK

The car started performing poorly and it was determined to be the "catalytic converter" this
was replaced and now, after more than 100 miles, including the above profile, the catalytic
monitor still reads "inc"

keep driving, you need stop and go traffic, more highway miles...

I do not have a check engine light on and if what you say is true, I should be good to go for inspection, The only system that is not reading OK is the Cat monitor, all others read OK or N/A, thanks for this info.
