I drove my 2003monte Carlo ss
about 20 miles it ran fine. I parked
ut for 3 hours then started it and it
is really loud coming from the
back of the motor.and it was
backfiring and losing power I have
duel exhaust and it looks fine.

Backfiring and losing power sound like a timing issue. How many miles on the engine? Could be a bad timing chain.
