my heat work then i shut the car off then the next day when i drove my car the heat was only blowwing cold air

Make sure engine temperature is normal, make sure coolant is full, check for any leaks, check both coolant hoses to make sure they are getting hot. then there is a HVAC blend door actuator under the dash that might be bad.
