I RAN OVER A STICK WHILE BACKING INTO A PARKING SPACE. NOW MY TEMP GAUGE GOES 1-2 MARKS ABOVE NORMAL. THERE ARE NO LEAKS OR LITES. BOTH FANS WORK. NO ENGINE NOISE. NOTHING HANGING UNDER THE CAR.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

MY TEMP GAUGE USUALLY STAYS EITHER AT 12 0'CLOCK POSITION OR 1 LINE BELOW.  ANY THOUGHTS ANYONE? I'VE GOT THE 3.8 NON SUPERCHARGED ENGINE ON A 2005 MONTE CARLO LT. THANKS

Check for coolant leaks and check the coolant level. Maybe you can't see it but the stick could have made a small hole in something.
