Asked by Chevyredy Aug 06, 2018 at 04:35 AM about the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so I was driving on the freeway. There was
road work so slow traffic. Then all the sudden my
RPMs drop to zero and it died no warning. My
gauges we're reading fine pressure, temperature,
no leaks.... nothing just stopped. Gas pump had
fuel and fuses are fine. I'm stumped. any ideas are
welcome at least as of where to start my search. O
e thing after another with this truck . By the way it
won't let me select any older than 99 but my truck
is a 1996 K 1500

I guess all signs point to ignition,coil,switch,fuse or relay? How do I check a relay and on my fuse block. Also in my engine bay it has ignition 1, 2 and ignition E. how do I know which one is my main ignition fuse.?
