Low oil pressure light and gauge

Truck been sitting about a year. Had transmission
repaired.Checked oil dip stick looked ok.Added oil
treatment. While driving home. Oil pressure light
came on.while at red light ,oil gauge dropped
engine stopped .tried to jump start .Had truck
towed.

The oil light will come on if the truck stalls. No running = no oil pressure. If it really had low oil pressure while running till it died then you may have locked up the motor.

What was the reason for adding oil treatment. Today's modern oils have all the necessary additives in them.

how many miles? does motor still crank and start? was there oil in motor? who did the transmission? check your oil lines and make sure they were not damaged by them when they put tranny in.
