Power window will not go down

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On my 1999 Silverado, the left (driver side) window will not go down. The right side is working fine. When I removed the door panel and reversed the wire harness to the window motor, the window went down by pressing the up side of the window switch. After putting the wire harness back on the motor correctly, the window would not go down again.
