1998 chevy 483 LE tranny & 5.3 motor transmission knocking but truck runs perfect

My truck runs great, transmission shifts perfectly
but the transmission has a knocking dound. Don’t
know what the problem is. The transmission looks
perfect and clean. Any ideas?
