1998 Chevy Z71 5.7 won't run

I was turning around went over
some rough bumps and drive
100 yards and it lost power, and
died.  It back fires but wrong
start, also fuel pump kicks in

First thing to do is check the fuel pump pressure. It should be 56 to 63 lbs.
