1997 chevy silverado 1500 just stops!!!

Okay so about 2 month ago my truck hit 200,000
miles . Well anyways i was driving on the
interstate.  And it just shut off on my and wheel
locked and every thing . So i pulled over and shut it
off.  Started it back up and it was fine for like 5 min
then it did it again .
Well once i tried to start it and go there was no
power. So we changed the fuel filter and fuel pump
and it started working fine.  Well 2 days ago i was
driving in cruise crontrol and it happened again.
But i was able to start it back up and go home .
My husband drove it yesterday and it drove just
fine . I drove the truck today....
And it just shut off on me !!!
So i pulled over restarted the car and it would
barely go. For a very long time then i restarted it
and it worked perfectly fine.
What could this be i need help!!!!

Check and clean all the battery cable connections. These connections need to be absolutely clean, free of corrosion and tight. Also check the electrical connections at the starter. How old is the battery?
