I just bought a used 2000 extended cab Silverado
1500 does it have a anti theft lock system and how
does it work also how can I find out

I believe ( if i can remember mine ) its a veeeeery basic alarm. Lets say someone breaks your window and opens your door, if your truck was armed with the fob, the alarm would go off. When you lock the truck, the alarm arms in 15 seconds

I have a 2000 Chevy 1500 it won't start the Security light just blinks

Chevy Silverado 2002 security light stays on. starts and dies gas gauge indicate empty but not true.
