I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 Single Cab. It has a 5.3 V8 in it and I was wondering what kind of exhaust you recommend putting on it to make it loud, and sound good. Not sure if it matters, but it's only 2WD...

A good muffler shop would surely be able to steer you the right way. Many offer loud exhaust options.
Flowmaster mufflers are good. You could do a dual exhaust and add a high flow catalytic converter and pick up a small amount of power.

Flowmaster or Magnaflow are good aftermarket but so expensive! I had a single 3" exhaust pipe bent up for my Chevt 350 street truck from a local muffler shop with a pipe bending machine AND for much cheaper too. Use a 3' inlet & outlet muffler & cat too, I like Raven Products Note a single 3" pipe will flow more than duel exhaust. And a rear right behind the tire is more desirable for not interference for the towing ball too.
A 3" will flow about 12% more than two - 2" pipes. Two - 2 1/2" pipes will flow a lot more than a single 3" though.
