It is possible that the inertia switch is popped. They are supposed to turn off spark and fuel in the event of an accident, but they can fail also. Not a 100 percent sure on your year model, but quite often they are located on the passenger side floorboards near the hump just above the carpet. Other culprits could be fuses or relays, check them all, especially the fuel pump relay and pcm relay.

When out this afternoon and checked the switch, it did not need reset. So I tried to start it and it hit and ran for about a minute then it stopped and would not start again. I'll check the fuses, but not sure which one to "check"

Jamesrhodes, you sound like a car dealer. Anyway mejsdad check any fuses and relays you can find especially those associated with starter fuel pump, pcm etc. also I think Jim has some good ideas, he's got a lot of experience. Your fuel pump should cycle for a few seconds and build up pressure. If you can't here it, that's your place to start. Hopefully its not a timing chain .
