I have a 2001 Silverado 1500 4.3 v6. I bought it used about a year ago, it throws the code "camshaft to crankshaft position correlation fault" and it has a slight miss that is worse when it's wet out.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've replaced the ignition module,
distributor, cap, rotor, and the
crankshaft sensor. I can't figure out
the problem. Could someone please
help?!?

Really called a camshaft positioning sensor. Located under the rotor button on distributor

Cam sensor or cranks sensor. Ignition timing not set right or the timing chain is off a tooth or more

It's very unlikely for it to be the timing chain because unlike a timing belt the chain can't just jump time. It doest slip like a belt. The only way a chain can really go bad is from being old and worn, it gets lose, or if by some chance it breaks. Just replace your cam sensor then go from there. Cam sensor is between $35-$40 at advance auto parts
