2002 chevy truck will cut off. It will start back up. If you keep at least 1000 rpms it will not cut off. The problem comes in when you take your foot off of the accelerator.

Sound like a big vacuum leak. Snug up the intake manifold bolts, only up to 15 ft.lbs. check at the throttle body and engine for vacuum leaks, other wise should hook up a scanner to it and see what codes there may be.
A vacuum leak is what I was told is probably wrong with my truck. I have no idea how to fix a vacuum leak though.
