2002 silverado code p0300

Asked by shanewurster Mar 26, 2016 at 09:34 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck doesnt want to idle or run right.  only
able to go 25-30 mph. Was able to get to auto
zone and had obd tested. Code p0300 popped
up and the sel light is flashing. I replaced the
fuel injector pressure regulator per auto zone
recommendation. Still popped same code???
Any suggestions

Like tennisshoes says...P0300 CHEVROLET - Cylinder Misfire Detected Random Cylinders... Possible causes... - Faulty spark plug (s) - Faulty ignition coil (s) - Clogged or faulty fuel injector (s) - Intake air leak - Fuel injectors harness is open or shorted - Fuel Injectors circuit poor electrical connection - Ignition coils harness is open or shorted - Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection - Insufficient cylinders compression - Incorrect fuel pressure

Ignition switch and harness will fix a lot of these problems GM knows this
