I think 2" will be fine but you may have to put fender flares on it depending on your state laws.
I just want a wide stance look but I don't want it lifted to high...all the leveling kits im looking at say max tire size would be 32
id be happy with 32 inch tires but I want them at least 12 inches wide...would I need wheel spacers or just a major offset on the rims
Put a 1-2" body lift on it and then that would be plenty with the leveling kit

Are they going to be 13" or the more common 12.5". With the stock rim backspacing 12.5" will rub on your front fenders when turning. The 13's or wider will rub and wear through the mud flap and or inner fender. You can run them just use caution when turning sharp or turning while compressing the front suspension. At about 14" wide tires with 0 to 6.5" lift the tires will actually hit the sheet metal!!!
