I drive a 2003 silverado with after market power windows. The passengers side will not go up or down. The control switches on the passenger side light up when I hit a bump. I do not hear any noise

Take them apart and firm up the connections. That includes the wires.
they are "aftermarket"?! good lawd- that is why I like manual window cranks- if you had them, why change them? aren't there enough problems in life?

Ok jamblues first of all I bought the truck that way I did not change them. Whoever had the truck before me picked some very nice options but left other ones simple which I don't understand. 2nd why make a comment if it's not helpful. BoholMark thank you for your helpful advice.
Back in the day, when A/C was a big option, a buddy of mine ordered a Chevy van with A/C P.W. P.D. A.M.F.M. 8 track player, but not P.S.! True story.
ok- I will get businesslike- it sounds like a loose connection, a short, if you notice changes going over bumps- so Boho was right- but it might be something else, too, like a failed component- get a test light to make sure- and, please understand, this is a blog, a public forum, and people can say anything they like- don't get upset if comments get frivolous- and, I am not sure why you would think that we can help with aftermarket installations, I mean, who knows?
