No spark to coil

Asked by GuruZT6N1 Oct 21, 2017 at 08:09 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I swapped motors in my 03 silverado. V6
vortec. Truck started fine before the swap.
Now nothing. No spark. Also bringing up
code that it's being stolen. Any ideas?

You should have changed the computer with the one that was matched to the new engine,,, do you see a :security" message?

Thank you men. Raining today, i will try it tomorrow. 2 months without a truck is a looong time. Btw, i have no owners manual with the truck. Do you have a link to the shut down procedure?
