Asked by roatanmarine Jan 09, 2015 at 09:41 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Greetings:  My 2003 Silverado has no dash guages, no radio, no driver door controls,
no response to remote entry, and 2 amp draw on battery even when truck is off.
Problem was intermittent and now permanent.  I have power coming from keyswitch on
two ignition poles and power to driver door.  Battery and alternator good.  Please help.
Thank you very much.

There is a control Module in dash that controls all of the electrical systems. I replaced battery and alternator. Battery would be dead by morn. Took to mechanic and they found that this control module was bad and replaced it. They had to take my truck to dealer to have it programmed. Fixed the problem.
