Will a secondary battery and all wires upgraded to 0/1 gauge push 2500 watts rms without alternator upgrade?

I have an 03 silverado with two l7 15" subs on a kicker zx2500.1 amp. Will adding a
second battery and upgrading all wires to zero gauge keep my lights from dimming and
push the amp to its full potential? Would I need to upgrade my alternator to keep them
charged? Thank you in advanced.

If you're experiencing light flicker, using capacitors between the amp and battery will fix that. You shouldn't need to install a second battery.
as a audio installer I would up grade alt and install a optima battery do the big 4 ground and power up grade using 0 ga and crimped soldered cables
