I have a 2003 silverado 1500 4x4 . I'm having issues with it starting and have narrowed it down to behind the dash I believe . Is this known to happen in this truck?

It seems everything is getting power when I turn over key.. It's just dead.. not the fuses.. started wiggling around wires in column and under dash while holding key turned and it would start.. Is there anything else to check besides the obvious connections ? Thanks all !

look at the wires going into the ingntion switch use a test light to find a pinched wire then fix it

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado extended cab, 4.8 liter. I have had multiple issues with this vehicle, but the one I can't seem to solve is this: if I leave the truck sitting for a day, when I get in and start driving, about 5 miles down the road, it acts like it is being starved of fuel. The engine light starts blinking and there is no power even when i step on the gas fully. After a minute or two, it goes away and runs fine unless I let it sit for a couple days. I just replaced my fuel lines because they were rusted out but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas anyone? 6 Answers

Engine light is always on and blinks on and off when problem occurs.
