Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last night I parked my truck and left it on as I ran
inside to grab something. I came back out, hopped
in my truck and tried putting it into gear. It did not
want to move in any gear what so ever and can't
even be pushed In Neutral. Anyone know what this
could be?

Probably a problem with the Shift Interlock Solenoid that locks the shifter until you step on the brake. A common problem is a wire breaks by the solenoid.

The weird thing is, when I shirt into gear I can feel it catch. But it doesn't move. And my transmission was working perfect and was showing no signs of giving out (4l60e)
