driver side pwr window doesn't move. Hear motor running, but that's it. Passenger side and back left work ok, but drivers and back right don't. Would it be the regulator?

Yep if the motor is running and the window isnt moving its the regulator.

that would mean a little trip down disassembly drive---remove the screws from the armrest, with a ruler or knife separate the steel from the hardboard, a few plastic retainers shoud come with the hardboard...but curses they usually rip out in a most undignified fashion...there's a waterproof lining there, push up on the hard board removing the speaker wires to expose the whole magilla...replace the defective components~

Take the inside of the door apart. It could be that the glue on the tabs that hold the window has come loose and the tabs pulled away from it when you tried to put the window down... OR ... is a cable towards the front of the door as well as the back that attach to plastic clips on the piece that hold the window...the cables go through the plastic clips and are held on by what is best described as a plunger. If those plungers break, the motor will run and the cables will move but nothing will happen.. Don't be surprised if you don't see the cables. They are usually inside the frame of the door. When I say disassemble the door, that's exactly when I mean. LOL. good luck

it's a visit to the seven planes of hell to do some surgery on the inside of the door...isn't it rev?..get this feeling everytime I have to service this largely plastic and cracking type affair~
Yeah sheese the whole explination of all the cables and plastic pieces are part of the regulator just buy the regulator and be dont it dont matter what part of it broke it will still need one

yeah operator, i hear ya.... normally when I have doors apart it's to run speaker cable through the boots and do sound system work... occasionally to fix stuff like that but it's never fun..
could it be that the gears inside the motor is cracked?
