2005 chevy silverado 4.3 v6, past month when parked, the idle goes up and down, i let it warm up and still does it. It drives good but just when i put in in park the idling is terrible. I replaces iacv, oxygen sensors, tps. When i replaced all that and reset the computer everything seemed to be ok and then it started idling bad again today. What else can it be? its very frustrating. Someone said vaccuum leak, but where exactly should i check for that. Help much appreciated 2 Answers

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado extended cab, 4.8 liter. I have had multiple issues with this vehicle, but the one I can't seem to solve is this: if I leave the truck sitting for a day, when I get in and start driving, about 5 miles down the road, it acts like it is being starved of fuel. The engine light starts blinking and there is no power even when i step on the gas fully. After a minute or two, it goes away and runs fine unless I let it sit for a couple days. I just replaced my fuel lines because they were rusted out but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas anyone? 6 Answers
Engine light is always on and blinks on and off when problem occurs.
