throttle position sensor

i have the repair manual for the listed vehicle, however, the throttle position sensor is NOT located where the manual indicates... anyone know where to locate the throttle position sensor on a 5.3 litre chevy motor?

well lets show my utter complete ignorance....what is the plenium?

04 and newer u might have to change the whole throttle body out unless u go to a dealer that will cost $400 to $600 throttle body is only $260 and its easy to change at least thats what i had to do with my 80 with a 4.8 liter

is on TB,throttle body,is a round black plastic with a tail with 1 plug ,2 tourx bolts,is eather in front or on right side looking at motor.

I changed my Chevy 2003 1500 hd throttle body now my idle is fast when I put it in gear. Tried to reset the pcm didn't work . Is there something on the transmission I need to replace
