leveling kits

I find that these are great things when they are new, but as they get older (a few years) some might satrt to have issues (broken lines, broken bags, Think late 80's -mid 90's Lincon's) and they are some ting just down right expensive to repair. This just my own opinion, I do know a few people who have had great luck with them, I bud had one installed in this truck about 6 years ago (he told them to use VERY heavy duty parts) and he has not had a issue with it, my brother in-law has one on his truck and I go and re-attach a line at least once every other month. So I guess it is a personal thing and depends on which system you get, I am sorry I dont know the names for the systems, but if you want them I can get it for you. Cheers
I've been doing alot of research. Some companies (especially the manufactures) agree that it is safe and the cheapest possible way to lift the front end. But other users say that you stiffen the ride and can sometimes overtighten the torsion bars and put to much stress on the torsion keys. Resulting in premature suspension wear. Also over time the kit seems to wear out.
