will the newer Silverado rims fit my 06 Silverado. There is a difference in offset.

I have a 06 Silverado extended cab RWD with 245/70/17 tires and I would
like to buy some stock
rims and tires that are take offs from a 2017 Silverado 255/70/17. I
understand the bolt pattern is the same, the newer rims are 1/2 in wider than
mine. My current offset is 31 and the newer rims are 24. Will there be any
problems in switching? Thanks!

Try them out and see. They will probably work.
