Is the warranty on the hybrid battery good enough to buy a kia carnival hybrid?

Stay away from anything made by KIA. Haven't you seen about the engine problems and battery fires, not to mention the electronic glitches.
Take notice of the used Kia hybrids on the market, or the lack thereof. They're all in the junkyard! Jim
warranty is 10 year 100,000 miles on the battery.
Is that 100% replacement during that time or prorated? Jim
If you buy the vehicle new, it is 100%. I have a Kia hybrid with 97,000 and haven't had much problem with it other than a blown fuse in the battery pack about 60,000 miles ago.
Thanks for all the responses. I was reading more about hybrid engines and found that the weight of bot ice and hybrid engines cause tires to wear out faster and may cause handling issues. For me these issues are outweighing the benefits of fuel savings.
You're welcome, glad to help! In my opinion the technology is not perfected enough for a Hybrid or EV. But, just like anything else, it will be. I'm sure just over one hundred years ago people were debating horses versus gasoline powered vehicles. Eventually the horse and carriage gave way to the internal combustion engine. Just like the internal combustion engine will give way to EVs. If this is something you're interested in, be patient, and keep watching the progress of Hybrids and EVs. Jim
