OUR SILVERADO HD CUTS OUT SPUTTERS UNDER LOAD THEN DIED AND WOULDN'T TURN OVER

Look for 1) a loose connection at the battery 2) all ground wires that go from the body to the engine and transmission. Many times we find this to be the problem. If it is not a battery or ground problem there may be a bad connection at a wire gang connector. But don't waist your time digging for that. Hook up a diagnostic computer and see if it will give you a history listing of the fault. This will save hours of digging... Nick, Horseless Carriage, Milford, NH

Now turn over or wouldn't start. I ask because if it will turn over with no start, the sputtering could be cause by low fuel pressure.
