Hello!
Was wondering how to get the ignition codes to display/flash for a 2003 Chevy Silverado. Been looking in the Chilton manual and online & can't seem to find anything for that year. Thank you for your response

I have just spent every bit of ½ hour looking for a way to get the fault codes, the DTC's without a scanner. Bottom line: No Can Do. IF that is what you mean by "ignition codes". To read DTC's......OBDII fault codes wit a CEL lit or not you must use a scanner. There is no flash code set-up for a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 2 Dr LS 4WD. If there is I can't find it. Now, for Mudball, somebody prove me wrong.
Thank you Fordnut and Jim! Yes. Unfortunately you are correct. I looked into it further and everywhere I turned said you need a scanner. Guess I'll be getting me a scanner when I get some excess cash. Guess you can get a cheaper one for around 50 dollars. Again Thanx all. Best
