i would say 8500 to 10,000 lbs towing.

the bed capacity is around 1500lbs hence the 3/4 ton weight rating, however without a load leveling system like rear airbags the back of your truck will sit very low

the owners manual says payload is 1850 pounds, and tow 12,000 pounds

Payload is 3600 pounds, towing is 10500 pounds for a single cab long bed 3/4 ton. (Per my manual)

Went with some one to pick up 29 pks.of roof shingles in his new 1500 Ford, loaded over and just forward of the R.axel it had squirly steering with 12 paks. Came to his rescue with my 1986 Ford to carry the remaining with no problem.
