Steering Fluid Milky

A couple weeks ago I drove to a friend's house on some really cold night. Three hours later I left and went to start the car and the steering pump was whining even while just sitting still so I checked the fluid and it looked OK but might have been a bit high. I figured it was just cold but when I got it home and checked again the fluid was gushing from the pump resovoir and it looked like chocolate milk. I'm guessing air got into the system somehow but what would make it do this between the time I park it and when I leave? It was perfectly fine before I left my friend's house. I haven't been able to drive it for weeks now and I was wondering what could have happened.

Might be a good chance that there is a leak in the pwr steering line, and when you turned it brought air into the line and is making it do this. Check the lines for holes or leaks.

eather your power steering pump is bad or your rack and pinion has gone bad.
