Original wiring harness.

A buddy of mine clipped the original wiring harness for the stock radio, he rewired it but when he plugs in the stock radio my trailblazer wont start. when its disconnect it starts. What would cause that to happen?

there is a wiring problem. you will have to go back through the wiring that he cut and see where he messed up reataching the wires there is a positive to a ground throguh the radio some where. this is where I would start first sense this is the thing that has been changed

I dropped a 05 engine in a 07 trailblazer then tried to rewire it to make it work? Is it possible because it's not working.
