Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 2005 trailblazer and it has no gears at all
the engine idles down when i shift it like it's going
into gear but won't move. Could this be a bad

It could be in the shift solenoids, or the trany is just worn out. Your best to take it to a transmission shop for proper diagnosis.

Ok. If this helps at all it was rebuilt 3 yrs ago. Everyone keeps telling me the front pump is shot. Want to do it myself if that's the case I've swapped trans before and have the tools to do it just wanted some ideas on what could be wrong without the pricey trans shop that's gunna screw me.

If it has ben rebuilt 3 years ago, if it was done by some who is good, the front pump would have ben checked. It would more than likely a pressure solenoid, but I am not a trany guy and either is anyone else on this sight. We only know symptoms and a course of action.
