My car idle to low when I stop at a light l. What can I do to bring it up a bit

It cause the alt to spin slow so my battery
gauge go down. I keep having that same
problem. I have a new alt and battery

you might want to have your THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) checked out.You didnt mention if your vehicle runs ok ,after you take off from the stoplight,if it does have your TPS checked.If your car is misfiring as the RPM climbs you should look into a TUNE-UP.GOOD LUCK!!
