I'm having a problem with my rear defroster. Despite trying to reglue the wires back on the window the special electrical contact glue doesn't hold.

Asked by Mitchrocks Feb 17, 2015 at 02:26 PM about the 2006 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ford twice has tried to repair. The glue doesn't hold. I was told I need to replace the
glass. The glass is sewed into the convertible top & the only why to replace the glass is to replace the whole convertible top.

Yes. They are using the glue that Ford recommends to repair. The problem is the glue is not holding to the glass. It has been repaired twice but not staying on.
