i started to notice my mustang 06 4.0 began ticking
at first i thought it was normal cause everyone said
most mustangs ticked but than now every time i
start it up i hear a loud clunck followed with a few
ticks than when the car heats up the ticking
stops.than i noticed every time i gas it around 3000
to 4000rpm i hear this loud clunck also when i rev it
around those rpms it makes the same noise any

The ticking is most likely a lifter and is quite normal, the clunk I would have looked at by a pro because it could be something serious.

so update i had low oil burly added some today the clunking stopped when i started it up but still makes a ticking noise but goes and comes
