Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Checked oil and was over full mark a lot and thin. Had been 1/8 in. above full mark. Drained over a qt. out and still 1/2 in. above mark. No water in oil and no water loss from radiator. No other fluid could get in oil but gas. How???

Thanks, I thought must be injectors. Never considered regulator. Not a daily driver. Will check it out next week. Weather rotten right now.
