Charcoal canister? Vacuum hoses coming out of it? Gas vent line going to it? A purge valve on it? Electrical connection going into this valve along with vacuum hoses? Looks like charcoal canister
My wife ran something over and knocked it off. Someone zip tied it back on but the hose that the wires hook up to was disconnected. It is the the charcoal filter. Would this cause may car to rattle at times while my foot is on the accelerator?
It could but it would be a plastic pvc sound against the metal. Is it your heat shield on your catalytic Converter? Or an exhaust rattle? Bad motor mount on your engine? The engine flexes when you throttle, it could be worn engine mounts?
it is part of emissions. i bet wires to canister unplugged fuel sender wire. as for rattle check cats for loose insides. they rattle when burnt up
That is part of the bag suspemnsion system (in the inflation circuit ) for the obsolete recalled "airbag comforted " crap it- and my town car came with.
Charcoal evap canister we just had the same problem
It traps vapors from the fuel moving around in system including fuel tank. Best known as a CHARCOAL CANISTER. IT Will cause emissions failure at smog check and cause ck engine light to come on.
