My 2004 Crown Vic LX Sport only blows heat or AC thru the vents on dash, not on floor or defrost vents. Does anyone know how to fix? I've already replaced the O-Rings in the EATC unit.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2004 Crown Vic LX Sport heat/ac problem. When you change the vent setting  ( defrost, vent or floor ) it only blows through the vents on the dash. I've already changed the O-Rings in the EATC unit. Does anyone know how to repair it?

Check the vacuum connection to the vacuum tank but my guess is that you have a bad actuator in the system.

I ran the check on the EATC and got code 888 which I believe means it's OK. I don't know if this car has a vacuum tank.
